FPL, TECO, & Progress Solar Rebate Programs

Starting October 3rd through October 5th, TECO, Progress Energy, and FPL will offer cash rebates to customers who install photovoltaic (PV) systems in their homes or businesses. The rebates are part of a five-year pilot program approved by the Florida Public Service Commission.

Funding is limited and will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis. So don't delay! The best prepared customers will be in the best position to reserve a rebate.

The rebate programs are:

• Residential PV – Customers may get a one-time rebate of $2 per watt of the DC rating of the solar panels, up to $20,000.
• Business Photovoltaic (PV) – Customers may get a variable one-time rebate depending on the DC rating of the solar panels.
